Books and stuff m4w
Hi, I like to read, watch old movies, watch scifi, play with my dad's dog, nature watch. If you like any of those things, maybe drop me a line.
Also, I'm trying to get healthier, so if you'd like to go hiking (pretty sure sooner or later, you'll tell me to take a hike anyway, ha) or walking, or just want to heckle me as I walk on my treadmill, that's cool, too. I'm not a perfect physical specimen, so if that's important to you, well, that's also not me. Anyway, this is just about finding a friend, so that shouldn't matter, right?
I don't care if you're married, as long as your husband is cool with you having a guy friend--I don't want to sneak around. Also, I'd prefer that you live within 20 miles or so of FW/NH. I want someone I can do things with without lots of planning, on the spurs of moments.
I don't care what you look like, or what you do for a living, though I may ask out of curiosity.
I'm not religious. I don't care whether you are or you aren't, but if you're looking for someone with whom to go to church, that's not me.
I'd like to find someone with whom I could:
* Go for drives, chatting and looking at landscapes and old buildings. (I'm particularly fond of abandoned or abandoned-looking buildings in the middle of nowhere, like some of the buildings on the fringes of Fort Wayne's larger airport.)
* Go antiquing
* See a movie--at the theater, Cinema Center, or at my place or yours
* Discuss the impending collapse of the American empire
* Hold hands and skip together through chest high fields of wildflowers to the soundtrack in my head (which, for that particular activity, is The Lovin' Spoonful's "Do You Believe in Magic?")
* Choose colors for the interior of my home, currently decorated in a uniform shade of off white.
* (Insert your suggestions here)
I'm not looking for perfection or everlasting love. I'm just looking for friends.
